1. 前言
a.《綠咖啡唱作人原創音樂優秀選暨第四屆A8原創中國音樂大賽》（以下簡稱「比賽」）由綠咖啡創作有限公司(“Green Coffee”）及 A8電媒音樂控股有限公司(“A8”）（以下簡稱「主辦機構」）主辦。參賽者可以個人或組合名義參賽。（以下簡稱「參賽者」）。參賽者創作之參賽歌曲必須為流行曲。
b. 評判團將依據下列各項作為對參賽者之評審標準：
i.) 歌曲
ii.) 歌詞
iii.) 編曲
iv.) 演繹
v.) 唱作人/組合整體音樂才華/表現
2. 參賽資格
a. 參賽者年齡、國籍不限，除18歲以下參賽者必需其家長/監護人代表簽署。
b. 根據參賽者提供的資料，主辦機構有權豁免及放寬參賽條件。
3. 參賽程序
a. 參賽者最多可遞交四首作品，但決賽時每位參賽者只能有一首作品入圍。每首作品長度應為三分鐘至四分鐘，遞交參賽歌曲檔案須為MP3或WMA格式及檔案大小需少於4MB。
b.參賽者必須於比賽網站 (http://www.greencoffee.hk/singersongwritercomp) 填妥網上表格或填妥及簽署此報名表格，同時在提交報名表格時，連同表格列明之文件郵寄至香港觀塘鴻圖道
26號威登中心2樓206室（請於信封面註明《綠咖啡唱作人原創音樂優秀選暨第四屆A8原創中國音樂大賽》）
c. 截止報名日期為2009年11月12日 (星期 四) 下午5時。
4. 比賽形式
第一部份 (首輪選拔)
i.) 主辦機構收妥參賽者遞交的表格及所需資料後，被首輪選出的入圍參賽者將被安排於指定日期到《Backstage Live Restaurant》或其他地點進行試音。
第二部份 (試音)
i.) 主辦機構將安排通過首輪選拔的參賽者到主辦機構所指定日期﹑時間和地點參加試音。
ii.) 比賽出場次序以抽籤方式決定。主辦機構有權作最終決定，參賽者不得異議。
iii.) 比賽以自攜伴唱純音樂音效CD（audio CD）(其他格式如MP3/DVD/M4A…等均一律禁止)或現場伴奏形式進行（如現場伴奏，大會將不會提供樂手，參賽者必須自行安排）。
iv.) 各參賽者皆有獨立表演時間，當中必須包括參賽歌曲﹔詳情主辦機構將進一步公佈。
v.) 經試音的參賽者，最後分數最高的十位將會參加決賽，結果以主辦機構之決定為準。
第三部份 (決賽)
i.) 比賽出場次序以抽籤方式決定。主辦機構有權作最終決定，參賽者不得異議。
ii.) 比賽以自攜伴唱純音樂音效CD（audio CD）(其他格式如MP3/DVD/M4A…等均一律禁止)或現場伴奏形式進行（如現場伴奏，大會將不會提供樂手，參賽者必須自行安排）
iii.) 決賽詳情主辦機構將進一步公佈。
iv.) 評判將從十個決賽參賽者選出各獎項得主，包括最後五強以競逐《第四屆A8原創中國音樂大賽》香港賽區之最佳原創金曲
第四部份 (最後五強輪選)
i.) 最後五強將通過A8專業評審及國內投票選出香港賽區最佳原創金曲得主(“香港賽區五強輪選”)。詳情主辦機構將進一步公佈。
ii.) 香港賽區最佳原創金曲得主將會有機會出席於國內舉行的《第四屆A8原創中國音樂大賽》﹐以及其參賽歌曲於國內推廣。(如有)
iii.) 以主辦機構接納參賽者進入《第四屆A8原創中國音樂大賽》香港賽區五強輪選之參賽為代價﹐
最後五強參賽作品或其任何部份之所有版權自入圍香港賽區五強輪選起歸屬Green Coffee所
有﹐而且Green Coffee及其許可第三方可以任何方式使用其參賽作品，用於有關該比賽及/或
歌曲推廣之用途。
5. 同意聲明
a. 參賽者明白及同意主辦機構有權隨時：
i）拒絕任何申請而無須作出任何解釋；
ii）挑選任何參賽者參加比賽；
iii）全權決定就參賽作品作出適當音樂編排及/或其伴奏或伴唱安排；
iv）廢除參賽者之參賽資格而無須作出任何解釋；
v）修改或取消比賽日期或地點
vi) 保留解釋及修訂此規則及條例之權利。
b. 參賽者並同意：
i）主辦機構不用發還參賽者根據參加表格提供之資料；
ii）對於參賽者的任何損失包括傷亡，主辦機構無須負上任何有關責任；
iii）參賽者必須服從大會評判團之決定，不得異議；
iv）如有任何宣傳活動，參賽者必須參與主辦機構所安排之各項宣傳活動；
v） 比賽節目的版權屬Green Coffee所有。
6. 其他
a. 參賽歌曲及歌詞必須是參賽者原創作品，不會侵犯第三者之任何知識產權。與此同時，該等參賽作品(包括歌曲及/或歌詞)或任何部份於參賽前之任何時候並未以任何形式出版、廣播、向公眾提供、或公開演奏。上述形式包括但不限於電台、電視台、互聯網以及灌錄於唱片、影片、錄音帶或其他電子及合成途徑。
b. 以主辦機構接納參賽者的參賽為代價，參賽者(作曲﹑作詞﹑編曲人及演唱者)同意，在本規則及條例第5條的前提下，其參賽作品或任何部份之所有版權自遞交參加表格時起直至該比賽全程完畢後(以比賽專區網頁取下之日為準)歸屬Green Coffee所有，而且Green Coffee及其許可第三方可以任何方式使用其參賽作品，用於有關該比賽之用途。
7. 法律
此表所列之一切條件及規則皆依本港法律為依歸。如中﹑英版本有任何衝突，以中文版本為準。

1. INTRODUCTION
a) “Green Coffee Singer-Songwriter Competition” (the “Competition”) is organized by Green Coffee Creation Limited (“Green Coffee”) and A8 Digital Music Holdings Limited (“A8.com”) (mean the “Organizers”). A contestant (the “Contestant”) can join the Competition either in the form of individual or group. Works to be performed by the Contestant must be in the pop music genre.
b) The Contestant’s Competition shall be assessed by the Judge Panel based on the following criteria:
i) Melody
ii) Lyric
iii) Arrangement
iv) Performance technique
v) Singer-Songwriter/group talent and charisma
2. ENTRY CRITERIA
a) There is no restriction on age or nationality for the Contestants. Contestants who are under 18 years old will need their parents to sign the form on their behalf.
b) The Organizers have the sole and total discretion to waive any of the entry criteria as contained herein based on the information provided by the Contestants.
3. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
a) Each contestant may submit up to 4 works but only one work may be chosen for the Final. The total duration of each entry song should be between 3 minutes to 4 minutes. Each Composition must be submitted in MP3 or WMA format and the file sizes must not exceed 4MB.
b) Contestant could complete the entrey process either by:
1. Complete and submit the Application Form online at our official website (http://www.greencoffee.hk/singersongwritercomp)
2. Complete and sign the Application Form obtained at Backstage Live Restaurant/any Neway Karaoke branches then post to us at Room 206, 2/F, Westin Centre, 26 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong (Please stated: 「Green Coffee Singer-Songwriter Competition」on the envelope cover)
3. Download Application Form at our official website (http://www.greencoffee.hk/singersongwritercomp) and post to us at Room 206, 2/F, Westin Centre, 26 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong (Please stated: 「Green Coffee Singer-Songwriter Competition」on the envelope cover)
c) Deadline for Entry is November 6th, 2009 at 5:00pm.
4. THE CONTEST
PART I (FIRST ROUND)
i.) The Organizers, after collection of all applications, shall make first round selection of the Contestants and may arrange the Contestant to attend audition on a designated date at Backstage Live Restaurant or other venue as designated by the Organizers.
PART II (AUDITION)
i) The Organizers shall arrange the Contestants who pass FIRST ROUND to participate in the audition at the date, time and venue designated by the Organizers.
ii) The order in which the Contestants will perform shall be determined by way of ballot. The Organizers shall have final decision over the order of performance of the Contestants.
iii) The Contestant must provide his or her own music accompaniment for the performance in the form of audio CD (any other forms including but not limited to MP3, DVD or M4A, etc., will NOT be accepted) or arrange his or her own live accompaniment (please note that the Organizers will not provide musicians on behalf of the Contestants).
iv) Each Contestant shall have their own performance time. The perform section should include the Composition. Announcement for the AUDITION details will be made by the Organizers when appropriate.
v) The top 10 Contestants in AUDITION will enter into the Final. Judges will select 5 Contestants (the “Top 5”) to enter into the “The 4th A8 Original Music Competition” - Hong Kong Region, and also various award winners.
PART III (FINAL)
i) The order in which the Contestants will perform shall be determined by way of ballot. The Organizers shall have final decision over the order of performance of the Contestants.
ii) The Contestant must provide his or her own music accompaniment for the performance in the form of audio CD (any other forms including but not limited to MP3, DVD or M4A, etc., will NOT be accepted) or arrange his or her own live accompaniment (please note that the Organizers will not provide musicians on behalf of the Contestants).
iii) Announcement for the FINAL details will be made by the Organizers when appropriate.
iv) Judges will select 5 Contestants (the “Top 5”) to enter into the “The 4th A8 Original Music Competition” - Hong Kong Region, and also various award winners.
PART IV (Top 5)
i.) Winner will be selected by A8’s professional judge panel and voting in China from the Top 5 (the “Hong Kong Top 5 Selection”). Details of the Hong Kong Top 5 Selection will be announced by the Organizers in due course.
ii.) Winner may be arranged to attend“The 4th A8 Original Music Competition,”and the promotional activities held in China (if any)。
iii.) In consideration of the Organizers’ acceptance of the Contestant’s entry into the Hong Kong Top 5 Selection of “The 4th A8 Original Music Competition”, all rights of the Compositions written by the Contestants entering into the Hong Kong Top 5 Selection or any part thereof are assigned to Green Coffee and Green Coffee and its authorized third parties could use such Compositions in whatever way or form in relation to the Competition and/or promotion of the Compositions.
5. CONSENT
a. The Contestant understands and agrees that the Organizers shall have the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to:
i) reject any application without any reason whatsoever;
ii) select any Contestant to enter into the Contest;
iii) decide on the song to be performed by the Contestant or its accompaniment or arrangements relating thereto;
iv) abolish the entry status of any Contestant without any reason whatsoever; and
v) change any date or venue of the Contest or cancel any part of the Contest.
vi) Reserve the right to clarify or change the Rules and Regulations for this Competition
b. The Contestant also agrees that:
i) The Organizers shall not be required to return any of the documents that have been provided for entry this competition;
ii) The Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss or damage including personal injury or death of any of the Contestant;
iii) The Contestant must comply with all decisions of the Organizers without dispute;
iv) The Contestant must participate in all promotional activities arranged by the Organizers in connection with the Contest.
v) The copyright of the Contest shall be owned by Green Coffee.
6. OTHERS
a. The music and lyrics of the Composition must be original and will not infringe and copyrights of any third party. In any event, the Composition (for the purpose of these Rules and Regulations, Composition includes both music and lyrics) or any part thereof should not have been published, broadcast, made available to the public or performed in public in any form (including but not limited to radio, television, internet or recorded on disc, film, tape or other electronic and mechanical means) at any time before its submission to this Competition.
b. In consideration of the Organizers’s acceptance of the Contestant’s application, subject to Clause 4 of this Rules and Regulations, all copyrights of the Composition or any part thereof shall be assigned to Green Coffee from the application date until completion of the Competition (as determined by the date of removal of the official website). And Green Coffee and its authorized third parties could use such Compositions in whatever way or form in relation to the Competition.
7. JURISDICTION
The Rules and Regulations shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
In the event of conflict between Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
